As with any personal blog, regular updates have been lacking, but that doesn’t mean I haven’t been coding!
Over the past few weeks, in addition to my ongoing job hunt, I’ve been working on a nifty little Content Management System (CMS) designed for serial fiction stories.
Progress is slow but steady, and speeding up in the past week or so. It’s called ‘e-pulp’ (viewable on my github), and I’ve gotten to the point of a functioning node/express app hosted on Azure (Azure being a first for me). It is currently using the theme switcher I discussed in an earlier post, and will also be using my image-in-database storage technique.
The current roadblock is registering accounts, but I’m making steady progress on that as well (as of this writing, I’m working on email address validation).
Here’s to further progress in the coming weeks!
